Feast of Bl Bronislaus Markiewicz

The Salesian Family celebrates Blessed Bronislaus Markiewicz on 30th January.

Born in Poland in 1842, Bl Bronislaus made his perpetual vows to Don Bosco himself, having joined the Salesians in 1887. He returned to Poland and was the founder of the Congregations of St Michael the Archangel. He died in 1902.
