After hosting the recent presentation by Fr Fabio Attard SDB, the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation of England and Wales (CYMFed) has now launched a series of talks called 'Journeying Together', delivered by a range of experts from across the globe.

Shrigley reunion postponed

The reunion of the Shrigley Old Boys planned for September 2020, has had to be postponed until next year, owing to Covid-19 restrictions.
While this is disappointing, it will be savoured all the more when it happens, and there are plans afoot for virtual events, especially as this year is the 150th anniversary of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco.

A new free app for phones and tablets offers the prayers used by Salesians, in 9 languages and variants, including both British and American English. Salesians@Prayer can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.

Year 12 students at St John Bosco College Battersea have produced the second edition of their magazine, 'Faith Matters', written and edited by students for an audience of adults. Fr Francis Preston SDB has sent us an account of the situation in Dagoretti Market, a very poor township about two miles from the Salesian Sisters' Novitiate at Mutuini, near Nairobi, Kenya, where he has been based for the last three months. Last weekend, Fr Charles Garrick SDB, Manager of St Joseph's Bolton, celebrated 50 years of priesthood and 60 years of Salesian religious life, with the Thornleigh community .
