On 13th, 27th and 28th January 2007, just before the Feast of Saint John Bosco, the GBR Province arranged study days focusing on his mother, Mamma Margaret, who was declared 'Venerable' on 15th November last year.

Training for Leaders in GBR Salesian Schools

The Secretary of State for Education has announced that Savio High School will become a Specialist School for Business and Enterprise. The famous Liverpool FC and England Footballer is a past pupil of Savio High School, Bootle. The day before he left for Germany to take part in the World Cup he went back to the school for the premier of a film in which he stars along with a current Savio High pupil.
