The Salesians in the GBR province are organising a small group to go to World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro in 2013. The cost is to be 2200 and the experience will include three weeks at Campo Grande in Brazil at a Salesian Project before travelling to Rio for World Youth Day.

School unit names after Sr. Hilary Terret...

On Tuesday October 9th 2012 Hilary House was opened as a unit for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the grounds of Sacred heart Primary School Battersea.
The unit was called after Sr. Hilary FMA who taught in the school from 1996-2004 when ill health caused her to retire.
She continued to serve the children especially those with special needs until her untimely death in January.

On 29th July, Savio House was given over to 27 young people from Salesian schools and 7 volunteers. The young people were all 11 or 12 yrs old and were chosen by their schools to take part.
