On Sunday 14th May, the day after the feast of St Mary Mazzarello and on a beautiful sunny day, Mary Biddle, from Kendal was enrolled as a Salesian Cooperator.

This week, we have two occasions to celebrate St Mary Mazzarello, who founded the Salesian Sisters with Don Bosco, and became our first Mother General.

Monday 9th May 2017 marks the 180th anniversary of her birth, and on Saturday 13th May, we celebrate her feast. A joyful week indeed.

Last weekend, Savio Salesian College Bootle held a charity night to raise funds for their Lourdes Pilgrimage.

The venue for the event was the Santander Social Club, and activities included a Race Night and live music from Mr Bennett's 60's band Genevieve. Pupils worked very hard to sell tickets.
