This weekend, the 148th Missionary Expedition will be sent out from Turin. In the photo above, Br Martin and Br Po Tak hold Letters of Appointment to the GBR Province from the Rector Major.
Br Martin who is from India and Br Po Tak from China are now in Turin with the other Salesian missionaries, where they are visiting the places directly connected with Don Bosco.

Sunday September 3rd 2017 marked the end of an era, as the Parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes, Newent, and St Michael's Blaisdon, bid farewell to Fr Aidan Murray SDB, and the Salesians ended a chapter in their history, as they formally handed over care of the Parish to the Diocese of Clifton.

Fr Tom Uzhunnalil SDB is free

India's Foreign Minister has confirmed that Fr Tom Uzhunnalil, the Indian Salesian kidnapped in Yemen in March last year, has been released.
We thank God for his safe return, and are grateful to all who prayed for Fr Tom during the 18 months he has been in captivity. We continue to pray for him, and for all those who are in a similar situation.
