Animators shared prayer and BBQ in Bootle

Last week a number of Salesian Animators and Volunteers met together for a relaxed evening at St James'. We started with evening prayers and a short reflection, which was then followed by the BBQ in the garden and nibbles in the community room.

SDBs gathered in Bolton last weekend to celebrate the 80th birthday of Fr Joe Brown SDB. 

 

Fr Joe had celebrated with his community of St Joesph's on the big day itself, and at the weekend, he was joined by more confreres who shared a wonderful meal, many memories and funny stories and a splendid cake. Fr Joe also led the community singing!
