Message of the World Coordinator of the Salesian Cooperators

On the 24th December, the Holy Father, opening the Holy Door, began the Jubilee, a time of grace and renewal for the whole Church. On this important occasion for the whole Church, the World Coordinator of the Association of Salesian Cooperators, Antonio Boccia, sent a message with a powerful exhortation "to live the Salesian apostolic vocation in the world as lay people committed to bringing the light of Christ into society by embodying the Salesian charism".
The theme of hope in Antonio Boccia's message is clearly central. A theme which Pope Francis invites us to reflect on in this Jubilee and which is also the focus of Strenna 2025: "Anchored in hope, pilgrims with young people".
"We are called to be witnesses of hope for the young people with whom we enter into relationships" Antonio Boccia writes, "making us travel companions on their path of human and spiritual growth."
In addition, in the text of the message, the Pope's invitation and the Strenna's points for reflection are set against the backdrop of the Synod's Final Document, which exhorts us to walk a path of synodal conversion.
