Earlier this year, King Charles III released his Birthday Honours List for 2024. Maureen Devereux, the mother of Sean Devereux was on this list.

On Wednesday, Maureen was presented with her MBE at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle. The ceremony was presented to her by Prince William, the Prince of Wales.

Maureen was awarded her MBE for services to Education and Humanitarian support to Children in Africa through her work with the Sean Devereux Children's fund.
