Savio House installs new defibrillator

Savio House recently received £1500 from a Community Grant through the Supermarket chain Tesco.
Each month Tesco selects 3 local charities to grant up to £1500 to. The allocation of money is decided by members of the public dropping Blue Tokens into one of three slots at a collection point. A letter to the magistrate of the City of Turin dated 18 April 1865 opens up an interesting and previously unpublished glimpse into daily life in Valdocco at the time.

Sunday 8th September 2024, saw many Salesians celebrate landmark milestones as Religious.
Fr Martin Coyle and Fr Gerry Briody both celebrated 40 years of Religious Profession.
Fr Hugh and Fr Francis Preston both celebrated 60 years of Religious Profession, as did Fr Tony Sultana who also celebrated his 50th Anniversary of Ordination in July.
