July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Archbishop Costelloe visits The Home of Cricket

Professor John Lydon, a Member of MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club), organised a Tour of LORDS Cricket Ground in St John's Wood, London, for Archbishop Tim Costelloe SDB. The afternoon began with the Archbishop being driven into the Ground through the same entrance reserved for members of the Royal Family. He was greeted by Mr Robert Ebdon, Assistant Secretary (No.2 at Lords!) who led a guided tour which included the famous Long Room, the Museum, the Indoor Cricket School and the world-renowned Media Centre. While the tour was meant to last 1½ hours, Mr Ebdon realised how interested Archbishop Costelloe is in cricket generally and extended the tour to 3 hours including Afternoon Tea. During the Tour, Archbishop Costelloe was heard to describe LORDS as "the Vatican of the Cricket World". He enjoyed the day thoroughly.
