July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

During the mid term break, 36 young people and 4 staff from Thornleigh Salesian College visited Rome. The group arrived just as the synod on synodality had closed for the first session. They visited St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, had a walking tour of the Eternal City and visited two Salesian places. They also prayed the Angelus with the Holy Father in St Peter's square.
On the solemnity of All Saints, Fr Steven and the group celebrated the Eucharist in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Don Bosco's church in Rome. On the final day, the feast of All Souls, the group made a pilgrimage to the catacombs of St Callistus where they had an excellent tour by the Salesian Community who are entrusted by the Holy Father for the pastoral care of the Holy place.
