Autumn fades through November, wrapping us in a grey shawl of mists and dark nights. But "Fear not November's challenge bold" as, according to Alexander L. Fraser (1870–1954), "We've books and friends". So, shake off that dense veil of fog and immerse yourself in a good book to brighten your day.

As we approach the first half-term holidays of the academic year, it has already been a busy few weeks.

Many students and teachers have been making commitments for the work of their schools, chaplaincies and pets.

At St John Bosco College, Battersea, a select group of students, have volunteered their commitment to working as part of the chaplaincy team.
They also have a new Chaplaincy, which was blessed on Thursday 28th September, by Fr Gerry Briody SDB with staff, students, parents, and other members of the Salesian family.

At Thornleigh Salesian College, they have also taken on a volunteer Garden Team. After their commitment to the chaplaincy team, they also met the school rabbits, and together Fr Steven gave blessing to them all as they start their year together.
