Recently in the Bolton Community, there have been some reasons to celebrate.

The first thing was that the Bishop of the Salford Diocese, Bishop John Arnold, celebrated his 70th Birthday in June, and 40th anniversary of joining the priesthood in July. As a gift from the community, he was given a Silver Birch tree.

Also, following the conclusion of the annual retreat in Bolton, the community celebrated Fr Bernard Grogan's SDB 70th Jubilee of Salesian Life, and Fr Michael Duggan's SDB 60th Jubilee of Salesian Life.

But it wasn't just in Bolton where there have been celebrations. In Chertsey, Fr Sean Murray SDB, recently celebrated his 90th Birthday.
