Autumn fades through November, wrapping us in a grey shawl of mists and dark nights. But "Fear not November's challenge bold" as, according to Alexander L. Fraser (1870–1954), "We've books and friends". So, shake off that dense veil of fog and immerse yourself in a good book to brighten your day.

When Trustees of the Bosco Centre in Rotherhithe, London, met on 24 May, they remembered in a special way their founder and inspirational leader, Sr Cecily Dunn FMA, on the seventh anniversary of her death. Earlier in the day, Bosco Centre staff had laid flowers on her grave.

The Trustees were delighted to learn that a new apartment block in Rotherhithe is to be named 'Cecily Dunn House'. Local residents had voted on the name from amongst a number of others. Sr Cecily's name lives on!
