From Monday 27th - Wednesday 29th March, Year 8 students from Thornleigh Salesian College went on retreat to Savio House.

Their retreat involved a traditional walk up to the top of White Nancy, before they started reflecting on the theme of the retreat, which was Choices.

They did this by playing the Game of Life, which encourages them to think about what is important for them to live their lives. Is it getting an education, having a family, or getting lots of money?

They also looked at what influences their choices; Friends, Family, Social Media, Faith etc...

The students were also given the opportunity to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist, before concluding their retreat by affirming each other in their small groups.

The students had a brilliant time at Savio House and are all looking forward to being able to go back next year in Year 9!
