Recently Bishop John Arnold of the Salford Diocese made a request to the Salesians to minister full-time to the peoples of the Parish of the Holy Infant and St Anthony.

After consideration, the Salesians were delighted to accept this responsibility, and Fr Kieran Anderson SDB (Parish Priest) and Fr Gerry O'Shaughnessy SDB (Assistant Priest) took up the reins on behalf of the Thornleigh Community.

Last Sunday, the Parish community celebrated the Feast of St John Bosco, and after Mass led by Fr Briody, Provincial, teas and coffees, and entertainment were available in the hall.
