Getting to know Don Bosco

Over the decades, there have been a few films made about the life and work of St John Bosco.

All of them focus on the beginnings of St John Bosco's life with his family, and then looking at the difficulties and opposition he faced by some in Turin and how he was able to overcome these.

The first of three films that we can share, named "Don Bosco", was made in 1936. The film was made upon the occasion of Don Bosco's canonisation.
