July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

A look back at the visit of the Relics of St. John Bosco

10 years ago, from the 3rd to the 15th of January 2013, the Relics of St. John Bosco visited the Great British Province.

The Relics went on a tour of Great Britain as a part of the build up for the Bicentenary of the Birth of St. John Bosco in August 2015.

The Relics were joined by a pilgrimage team, consisting of members from the Youth Ministry team, BOVA volunteers, Past Pupils and Cooperators. The Pilgrimage team helped facilitate the exhibition in each Cathedral, accompany and educate the young people that visited the relics, and to welcome all of the pilgrims that had come to visit the Relics of St. John Bosco.

St. John Bosco's relics visited St Andrew's Cathedral in Glasgow, St. Francis Xavier Church - Carfin Grotto, Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in Liverpool, St Chad's Metropolitan Cathedral in Birmingham, St David's Metropolitan Cathedral in Cardiff, Metropolitan Cathedral of the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Westminster, St George's Metropolitan Cathedral in Southwark, before ending its tour in Sacred Heart, Battersea. The Relics also made stops at Thornleigh Salesian College, Salesian College - Farnborough and Feltham Young Offenders Institution.

Below is a video montage that was created from the photos but there are more photos on our Flickr Page
