As a Catholic community, our Savio Salesian College joyfully celebrated Welcome Mass for year 7 students who have taken a big step in their lives.

The Mass began with the warm welcome of Mr. Costello, the headteacher. Then, focusing on the theme 'Share the Light of Jesus', Father Jakub who led the Mass, encouraged our new students to recognise different gifts and talents given by God in order to learn, grow and to serve each other. The celebration finished with drinks and a chance for teachers and parents to get to know each other.

We pray and hope that students and staff will find a place of respect, understanding, affection and humour at Savio Salesian Community in Bootle.
