July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Four Students taking part in the Street Child United World Cup 2022

Four students at Savio Salesian College have been invited to go to Qatar, home of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

These students have been fully involved with outreach programmes run by Everton in the Community through the school and have been specially chosen to take part in the Street Child United World Cup 2022 in Doha, Qatar.
This is being hosted in partnership with Qatar Foundation and involves 28 teams from 24 countries across the world. 13 girls teams and 15 boys teams will come together to participate in an international football tournament, a festival of arts and a congress, to champion the rights of underserved children worldwide.
On Wednesday 5th October, the four students will be spending the day at St. George's Park, where they will train with some of the England football team squad before flying out to Qatar for a week to participate in the competition, that takes place from the 7th-15th October.

Well done to the students for the hard work that you have all put in!
