July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Online retreat explored how we face pain and suffering

Last Saturday, we hosted the second of our two online Lent retreats, created by Fr Gerry O'Shaughnessy SDB and Sr Susan Richert PVBM.

Twenty five participants joined us on Zoom to explore the challenging topic 'Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional' and to share their own thoughts and experiences, along with some times of prayer and reflection. The aim was to look at how we face and acknowledge our pain, and how our faith can help us heal and move forward from our suffering. A summary of the content is available to download here.

There is another opportunity to join a Lenten retreat, this time with the Salesian Cooperators, where the topic for their Zoom retreat is 'Care for Creation'. Click below to find out more on our Events calendar.
