Salesian School Chertsey explores the spirit of our schools

Salesian School Chertsey has been preparing for the Feast of Don Bosco this year with a series of short videos exploring the Salesian qualities of Respect, Understanding, Affection and Humour. The word 'ruah' is Hebrew for 'spirit' and was understood as the 'breath of God': it spells out the values that form the spirit of our Salesian schools, and demonstrate God's presence within them.

The videos were released published on the school's Facebook page from Monday to Friday this week, setting the context for their celebration of the Feast on Friday. Each short film is presented by a member of staff, talking about their experience within Salesian education.

Like all of our schools, Salesian School Chertsey will be celebrating the feast on the last day of the week, in a slightly different way from the usual Don Bosco Day festivities, with a morning full of fun activities organised by the Chaplaincy team, Heads of Departments and heads of Year, to unite everyone in joy on this great day.

Visit the School's Facebook page (below) to see the videos.
