Ever since lock down, the Salesian community in Battersea has been cooking meals for 14 people each day. The chief cook (and often bottle washer) has been Br Joe Tran, ably assisted by many members of the community, who have put on weight!

On Sunday May 3rd, Fr Tom Williams, the Rector, decided to recognise Joe's work in multi-cultural cooking by presenting him with a chef's hat.

Joe has not cut his hair for some time and the community are hoping the hat will help to tame his mane!
