July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Pray the 'Via Lucis' with Battersea Parishes

Each weekend in Eastertide, the Battersea community is producing three short meditations on the Via Lucis, the way of light, published on their 'Parish Priest' Facebook profile.

The Via Lucis takes 14 stages in the story of the risen Jesus, ending at the feast of Pentecost, and traces how we deal with good news and recognise the presence of the risen Jesus in our own lives.

The 'More information' link below takes you to the Via Lucis album of videos on the Battersea 'Parish Priest' Facebook profile, where each video is posted. Unfortunately, at present, these are only accessible to Facebook members, so you would need to sign up to Facebook to see them. If you are not 'on Facebook,' you are given the opportunity to sign up when you use the profile link below.

The community is also producing 'Morning Prayer in 3 Voices - 21 days of lockdown with Jesus' and Facebook members can access that album of videos here.

In May, a new Marian prayer series will begin, in partnership with the Salesian Sisters in Battersea. If you're on Facebook, send a friend request to the Battersea Parish Priest profile to follow all they are doing.
