July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Students 'showing love as God would show love'.

On the feast of St Joseph (19 March) students at our St John Bosco College, Battersea (SJBC) spent some time thinking about the elderly and specifically those living in care homes. They decided to make Mother's Day cards which will be delivered to the sisters and residents of the Hospitalier Sisters at Roland Gardens.

In the midst of personal concern during these unprecedented days, our Year 7 and 8 students decided to shift their concern towards the needs of others - those who are most vulnerable.

One of our Year 8 boys said: It made me feel good because some of the residents and sisters would never receive a Mother's Day card and this allowed me to show love for others. It was a way of showing love as God would show love.
