July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Our Provincial Chapter was held from 23 - 26 April 2019, at the Royal Foundation of St Katherine, at Limehouse, London. The meetings explored aspects of the theme of General Chapter 28, to be held in Rome next year. To answer the question "What Kind of Salesians for the Youth of Today", the Province focused on the priority of our mission with youth, shared mission between SDBs and laity, and a profile of the SDB today.

On Wednesday and Thursday, some of the young people and lay co-workers who share the mission of the Salesians of Don Bosco in our Province were invited along to take part in the discussions. In addition to our own times of prayer and reflection, we benefitted from the prayers of many who support our work, and had open and productive conversations, the fruits of which will be submitted to the General Chapter, and will also be used to guide our work and assist in our planning within the Province in the near future.

One of the highlights of Chapter was celebrating how the mission is shared with lay people, an area in which we all felt our Province is strong, and taking the opportunity to explore how we can work together to develop this successful collaboration across our Salesian Family.
