July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

This Year, St Anne's, Chertsey, is celebrating 90 years as a Parish church. We have a year-long programme of events to mark the occasion and on the 3rd Sunday of Lent we took part in a 'Feed the Hungry' packing event. This charity supplies meals to those most in need and our efforts were being sent to children in Burkina Faso and flood victims in Zimbabwe.

Our Confirmation candidates and members of the Parish joined together for a few hours and packed 5250 meals. The event was organised by our Parish CAFOD rep, Libia Roldan, and all that took part commented on how marvellous it was to physically help as well as monetarily.

Parish teamwork!
