July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Chertsey Chaplaincy raises £500 for Aid to the Church in Need

Last week, Fr Marco Villani SDB, Chaplain at Salesian School Chersey and Province Justice and Peace delegate, led a special assembly for Year 7, telling pupils about the work of Aid to the Church in Need (ACN). He was ably supported by two Year 13 students, and the presentation included a video of Pope Francis calling on us to pray for persecuted Christians.

At the end of the assembly, Fr Marco received a cheque on behalf of ACN for £500 , which has been raised by the Chaplaincy over the past few years for this important cause.
