From Br Ste Lloyd SDB in Battersea:

On Saturday 12th January 2019, Salesian House Battersea played host to a joint confirmation retreat for young people from the parishes of the Sacred Heart, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Josephs.

The theme of our retreat was 'your calling'. The young people reflected on why they are choosing to be confirmed and what their confirmation will lead them to be. We had a beautiful moment of faith sharing and the young people went on an Emmaus walk round Battersea park.

The day ended with a prayer service focusing on our baptism, as this weekend we celebrate and remember the Baptism of the Lord.

The next time both parishes will come together as one family of faith will be for Flame 2019. Please keep our 45 young people and their catechists in your prayers and they continue to discover Jesus on their journey of faith.
