July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Students entertain residents of the Sisters Hospitallers

On Thursday, Year 7 and 8 pupils from St John Bosco College Battersea were taken by the Head of Music to sing for the residents of the Sisters Hospitallers Of The Sacred Heart at Roland Gardens.

Residents were treated to a variety of music from traditional Christmas carols to Christmas tracks from artists such as Ariana Grande. The residents loved the music and the presence of the students. However, an unexpected treat was having the sisters sing a few Christmas carols in Spanish!

Warm mince pies and apple juice were quickly finished off at the end of our visit to the Sisters and their residents.

We hope to repeat the experience again sometime next term.
