Occasionally, our work takes us out of our youth retreat centre in Bollington. Last week, we were invited to work in a small village in Derbyshire called Hartington with St Mary’s Chesterfield and their entire year 12.

During the week, the recurring theme was “You are God’s work of art” (Ephesians 2:10). It was a very different week to what we are used to because they brought the whole year group of 140, and we weren’t familiar with the location.

But while it presented its own challenges, it was a very fruitful and rewarding week, and a great way to close off our first term together.
