Fr Tom Williams preached at the Christmas Carol Concert in St Mary's C of E church, Riverside Battersea at the invitation of Canon Simon Butler. Fr Tom preached on the journey to Bethlehem and was well received for his style, clarity and his links to contemporary issues. Unfortunately, to the dismay of his community, Tom did not preach from the incredibly high pulpit shown in the picture above, but preferred, as he said, " to keep his feet firmly on the ground."
