Last week, Savio Salesian College Bootle had a visit from a former student, who is now a member of the school's Hall of Fame. Beth Thompson delivered a motivational assembly to Years 10 & 11.

Beth, who left Savio in 2012, has done fantastically well in her studies, and she recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with 2:1 BSc in Genetics.

She is currently studying for her Masters, conducting research into a rare genetic disease called fanconi anaemia, and will go on to do a PhD in Genetic Research in October 2019.

The school was delighted with Beth's inspiring visit, and we join them in wishing her continued success.
