Last weekend, young adults and religious from around the country gathered at the Conforti Retreat Centre in Coatbridge to explore together what it means to be a young Catholic in Scotland today.

 A presentation by Fr David OMalley SDB opened a very rich discussion on the theme of the recent Synod on Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment, and on how to walk with young people on their journey towards a deeper understanding of God’s call in their lives. 

Sancta Familia Media, an organisation led by young Catholics, were among those who gave presentations. 

The Conference was organised by Vocations Scotland, a forum which includes the Salesian Sisters.
