July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Recognition for Inclusion at St John Bosco College

St John Bosco College Battersea ended the academic year by celebrating the recognition of its high quality whole school inclusive practice. The college received a certificate commending its achievement in meeting the needs of students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and social communication difficulties.

The college has an ASD Recourse base, which supports students across the curriculum of the main school, as well as offering a quiet learning environment for 1-1 and small group work, and expertise to support the staff across the school in meeting the needs of students. Find out more about the Savio Base.

Pictured are students Terry & Tariq with Headteacher Mr Dunne, Mrs Power, Head of Savio Base, and Wandsworth Borough Council's ASD Inclusion Advisor, Andy Fish (centre).
