The URSpace team has had a busy week delivering retreats for S2 students from John Paul Academy, Glasgow at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, Carfin, every day this week.

 

The students enjoyed a change from the school environment, and Srs Bernie, Elizabeth and Gill, and volunteers Ana and Niamh, had prepared a range of activities - indoors and out - to engage them and get them thinking about what they value, what makes them special, and how they can make a difference to the world. The theme was inspired by Pope Francis recent call for young people to shout out about the things that matter in the world.

The students had a lot of fun, and contributed to deep discussions on a range of important issues.
