July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Scouse and Argentinian music at Battersea's Don Bosco celebration

Fr David O'Malley SDB describes an eclectic celebration of Don Bosco in Battersea

The Battersea Salesian family gathered on Saturday evening, February 3rd to pray and to celebrate Don Bosco's day. The group gathered for an evening prayer, beautifully led by Bro Gregory and within that we were able to listen to Fr Angel's message for 2018 on video. Then we moved into sharing food, ably prepared by Bro Ste which was a version of "scouse" washed down with a few beers.

We had a wide representation of the Salesian family including the FMA community, and volunteers from around London, including school chaplains. We were also delighted to welcome two Cooperators from Argentina who brought a guitar and led us in some international singing. It was a great Salesian family night!
