July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Farnborough students prepare for Lourdes Easter liturgies

Fr Pat Sherlock updates us on preparations for music at the HCPT (Hosanna House & Children's Pilgrimage Trust) liturgies at Lourdes this Easter.

On Saturday 3rd February there was a rehearsal, led by HCPT Pilgrimage Director Andy Clare, at Salesian College Farnborough. The HCPT liturgies this Easter are being led by the American Special Children's Pilgrimage Group, but as they can bring only a limited number of singers from the USA, reinforcements are being provided by students from the UK.

Salesian College, Alton School and Coloma Catholic Girls School all bring Service Groups to Lourdes, ready to serve where needed, supporting helpers and children in the 'family' groups and assisting with the logistics of pilgrimage events. (In the photograph the piano is being played by Mr Nigel Cassidy, music teacher at Salesian College.)
