Kat Baker, art teacher and technician at Salesian School, Chertsey, has created a spectacular Don Bosco sculpture group for permanent display in the school's St Francis de Sales chapel.
The hand painted clay figures portray a joyful and dynamic scene, with Don Bosco surrounded by children, and their chapel setting provides students with a focus for reflection on the enduring heart of the Salesian mission - to accompany and guide the young.
It is also inspiring for students to experience the talents of their teachers in this way. Congratulations to Ms Baker!
