July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Two Project Europe Missionaries to make final professions

Br Joe, Fr Kieran (Director of GBR Mission Office) and Br Gregory

Br Joe Tran SDB and Br Gregory Echegwo SDB are Project Europe missionaries based in the UK. This week, they are at Provincial House in Bolton for preparation days with Fr Bob Coupe SDB, before maling their final professions in Battersea on 16th July.

Br Joe is from Vietnam and Br Gregory is from Nigeria. They both felt called to be missionaries, and applied to be sent out as part of Project Europe, an initiative developed to revitalise the Salesian charism for a new Europe with altering challenges, opportunities and needs. An important aspect of Project Europe is reaching across the national, regional and continental boundaries, enriching our work with the young and poor through the presence of Salesians from a variety of cultures and types of experience.

Please Br Joe and Br Gregory in prayer, and look out for our video - coming soon - where they talk about what it's like to be a Salesian missionary in the UK.
