Anita Motha, Coordinator of our overseas volunteer programme, Bosco Volunteer Action (BOVA),was interviewed with fellow members of the Lay Missionary Volunteer Network on Heaven's Road Catholic Radio recently, discussing the privileges and challenges of volunteering with Catholic projects overseas.

Anita joined Helen Granger of the Assumption Volunteers and James Trewby of Columban Missionaries in conversation with host Lavoisier Fernandes on the station's Talking Faith programme, broadcast on Monday 12th June. Drawing on their substantial experice of supporting volunteers abroad, and serving themselves, they discussed the range of motivations people have for wanting to serve, described the nature of the work and the opportunities each of their organsiations offers, and how the experience can be life-changing for both the volunteers and those they serve.
