Senior leaders from the Salesian schools attended a pilgrimage to Turin this month, led by Fr John Dickson SDB.

This was a special event aimed at the leaders in Salesian schools to deepen their understanding and knowledge of Salesian spirituality. Those involved were: Ged Owens Head teacher (Farnborough);
Nick Crean Senior leadership team (Farnborough); Clare Roberts Senior leadership team (SJB Liverpool); Darren Gidman Head teacher (SJB Liverpool); Ben McCann Senior leadership team (Chertsey); Cristina Mourelle (Chertsey); Frances Harrison Executive Head teacher (ND Liverpool); Patrick Kearney Assistant head teacher (Savio Salesian College, Bootle); and John Toye Chair of Governors (Savio, Bootle)

While this pilgrimage was aimed mainly at teaching staff in Salesian schools. Governors in the schools will be invited to join another pilgrimage in June 2017. These experiences are seen as another way of strengthening the Salesian ethos of our schools and also building up to a Salesian Education Conference in 2018.
