We are delighted to announce that the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernándes Artime, with the consent of his Council, has appointed Fr Gerry Briody SDB as the new GBR Provincial for the period 2016 - 2022.

Fr Gerry will take up the responsibility in August 2016.

Informing the SDB Communities of the appointment earlier, Fr Martin Coyle wrote;

'I am confident that Gerry will bring his leadership experience and his characteristic enthusiasm and commitment to this role, which will be a great blessing for the Province. I assure Gerry of our support and our prayers as he prepares to take on this responsibility in August 2016.'
