July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Schools Council October 2014

On Friday 9th October, pupils from Thornleigh Salesian College (Bolton), Savio Salesian College (Bootle) and St John Bosco Arts College (Croxteth) met at Savio House for a weekend of training about Trust, Respect and Communication. The young people shared their experiences of being on the school council in their schools and gave an insight to the issues that they have dealt with. They also had a chance to have a walk up White Nancy and into Bollington.

Throughout the weekend the groups from the 3 schools gelled very well and by the end had already added each other on Facebook and were taking selfies. The groups will return to Savio House in February with the addition of the schools in the south, which were unable to make the trip north.
