On Easter Monday, 21st April Sr. Monica and Sr. Maria had the joy of celebrating in advance, our respective jubilees. Sr. Monica Smith, 70 years as a Salesian Sister and Sr.Maria Debono, 40 Years as a Salesian Sister. It was a day that we will treasure for a long time, beginning with a lovely sunny morning which continued to improve as the day went on, only concluding with a thunder storm when everything was over and everyone was safely home.

The day began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by our Parish Priest Fr. Peter Brealey backed by our very professional music group and entered into by the congregation with enthusiasm and full voice.
After Mass about 100 of those present joined us for refreshments which were not long in disappearing, in fact some of us were so busy talking to the guests and posing for photographs, that we were lucky to get a piece of cake!!!
There was such a lovely family atmosphere of joy, we are sure that Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello were smiling down on us. How blessed we are to have such wonderful and generous friends. We would not be what we are without them. May God bless and reward them all.
