Salesian students from Bootle, Bolton, Farnborough, Croxteth, Chertsey and Wimbledon took part in the 8th Salesian Student Leadership Gathering. They met in Savio House from October 7th to October 9th 2011.

These weekends have gained a remarkable momentum and this proved to be the most popular with over 70 students accompanied by staff attending. The students were a great credit to their schools and enjoyed the opportunity to share their leadership experiences and forge new friendships.

This was also the inaugural visit for Saint John Bosco College, Wimbledon, and for many of the students their first experience of the Salesian network of schools. Thanks to Fr Jim Gallagher for his organisation and to Fr Tony Frain for celebrating Mass.
