Sue McDonald has begun her new role as Salesian Youth Animator for the Salesians of Don Bosco in Great Britain.

She writes:

I am very excited at the prospect of enhancing the profile of the Salesians within the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation (CYMFed) and look forward to working alongside some fantastic people already in this ministry.

As most people know I have worked within the Salesian family since I was 16 (decades ago!!) and have also been trained in Salesian Spirituality formally along with many other studies whilst in Rome. I love working with young people especially the marginalized and now thanks to the SDBs I will be able to share that experience with young adults who are interested in working the Salesian way.

I hope that this role will continue to challenge me in the way I respond to young people of today and that together we may become recognised for all the great work we do as Salesians.
