Final Profession

Br Marco Villani made his perpetual profession as a Salesian of Don Bosco on Sunday 6th September 2009 during Mass in the chapel of Salesian College Battersea.

Fr John Dickson was delegated by Fr Michael Winstanley, Provincial, to receive the profession. Br Marco renewed the vow, forever,
to live obedient, poor and chaste,
according to the way of the Gospel
set out in the Salesian Constitutions
He was presented with a lighted candle, symbol of the light of Christ, and a profession cross, depicting Christ as the Good Shepherd.

In preparation for ordinations to the diaconate and priesthood, Br Marco is completing an MA in Pastoral Theology at St Mary's Strawberry Hill and gaining pastoral experience in the Sacred Heart Salesian Parish in Battersea.
Br Sebastian Andrzejewski, a Salesian from the Polish WrocÅaw Province, renewed his temporary vows for one year at the same ceremony. In other Salesian Houses in Great Britain, Br Sandy Fairley, Br Jacek Garus (WrocÅaw), and Br Mateusz KozioÅek (Krak) also renewed their vows about this time.
