July is month of festivals, fun and (hopefully) sun. Just in case it rains, you can keep the young people in your life occupied by taking a look at our selection of children's books, including some activity books. Or treat yourself to a good read while relaxing in the sun.

Profession Day

Bro Marco Villani SDB (left) and Bro Matt Jeziorski SDB (right) made their first profession as Salesians of Don Bosco in the church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Farnborough, on the 24th August 2005. They are pictured here with Fr John Dickson SDB, who was their Director of Novices for the past year.

Fr Michael Winstanley, the Provincial, received their vows of poverty, chastity and obedience and welcomed them into the Salesian Congregation. The Mass of Religious Profession was attended by Salesians from all over the province, by Salesian Sisters, members of the parishes where Marco and Matt had been involved, and of course by their proud parents!

Bro Matt (from Warrington) and Bro Marco (from West Molesey, Surrey) are both honours graduates and they will be continuing their post-graduate studies while living in the community at Farnborough.

The following day, Fr John Dickson left for Toronto to attend the profession of James Zettel, a young Canadian who made his novitiate with Marco and Matt.
